Once again I turn to the wonders of the Interweb to ask for guidance, this time regarding RSS readers.
I’m playing around with the various readers out there, and am feeling both over- and underwhelmed by the options at my disposal. So, I figure I’ll provide my requirements, and see if any of you have any suggestions (or anti-suggestions) to throw my way.
Requirements:
- Works on OSX
- Syncs with Google Reader
- Keyboard navigation
- Folders
Would be nice:
- iOS (both iPhone and iPad) apps
- Offline reading
- Options for integrated sharing to (Facebook | Readability | Read It Later | WordPress | email)
I’m currently using Reeder, and can’t say that I dislike it, but I’m not in love with it. I know I could always just read my feeds directly from Google’s web site, but the UI there doesn’t do much for me, either. I’m also not that big of a fan of apps that provide articles in a magazine format.
So, what say you, Interwebs?
