Assuming you use color syntax highlighting (and if you don’t, you can stop reading, too), what is your must-have vim color scheme? Do you have different favorites for :set bg=dark
vs :set bg=light
?

You’re leaps and bounds ahead of me in the world of development. I’d love to know what you use, and why. And why you hate vim colors quite so much. π
I have a habit of falling back on vim for quick text edits but use Xcode and Eclipse otherwise.
I find the color schemes in vim (and ls) to be hard to see and a pain to tune.
Ok, fair enough. The default ANSI schemes are pretty atrocious. There’s a reason I’m looking for recommendations. There are some really nice ones out there. But I understand if you’d prefer your Kool-Aid to be clear. π

The last good innovation in displays was moving from white on black vt100s to green on black Wyse terminals. We don’t need all these sissy windows and icons!
