Other than Hershey Park and the Hershey Museum, are there any must-do / must-see things in or around Hershey, PA that y’all would like to share with me? Please keep in mind that huge lines are not my friend (for physical reasons, not just impatience), and that I will only be there for about 48 hours (Sunday afternoon – Tuesday afternoon).
Of particular interest: spas that won’t break the bank, yarn & craft stores (duh), and vegetarian dining. However, anything that you think I need to know about, I’d love to hear.
I really enjoyed a Cuban Experience at the spa. 🙂
George Achorn can you offer some advice for my friend Mary?
I went there once. Tried to go to Hershey Park, got there a half hour before the park closed. It was raining so the outdoor part of the park had already closed. Opted not to pay a full admission price to look at a hallway of exhibits about the history of the Hershey company or whatever. The whole town smelled like chocolate. Stopped at a convenience store and bought a Hershey bar (of course). It was stale.
That’s my anti-recommendation 🙂
