Having returned from a dentist appointment, and having had lunch, I’ve suddenly been overcome with rage at the state of my craft room / office. I had been really nice and neat and clean, thanks to Jer and Shamala’s efforts. But, inertia and meri-tendencies set in, and it’s starting to look like a storage room again.
So, I dive in.
I moved the two doors that we had to remove (long story) into another room. I picked up a bag that was very clearly a “miscellaneous crap” bag, and started digging through it. A good percentage of it was, in fact, crap. (I should not be allowed to shop ThinkGeek’s sale section. Really.) But, I’ve found a bunch of good design rulers, a nifty little LED desk lamp that might be useful in the TV room, and… a shawl that I knit, and planned to give to Shamamama, but could not find.
Yay!
(And then, of course, I stopped cleaning and turned back to the computer to tell you all about it. But, hey, progress is progress.)
Oh yeah. And yarn. I found yarn.
If you’re surprised, you haven’t been paying attention.
Not surprised. 🙂
Not surprised. 🙂
SIMILAR HERE. Today is my first day of unemployment, and I just want to throw all my craft stuff … into the driveway, then sort where I have space…

Christine: Amen! 🙂 I swear my stuff multiplies all on its own. *shakes fist*
Don’t get buried!

I think I must have meri tendencies also.
I just realized that since I am unemployed now, I could make a craftnerd field trip. If it wasn’t for these kids, always expecting a MEAL or clean clothes…
Good…you will feel right at home if you come and stay in my “guest” room.
Christine: Bah! Craftnerd field trip! We could meet halfway. 🙂
Katherine: *giggle*
